Kamikaze Revy

Kamikaze – A group of Japanese pilots in World War II who performed suicidal missions by crashing their aircraft, loaded with explosives, into an enemy target. Japanese, from kami (divine) + kaze (wind), referring to the winds that, according to Japanese tradition, destroyed a Mongol invasion fleet in 1281.

Revy – An abbreviation for the term Reverend, which is used as a title or form of address to members of the clergy.

Kamikaze Revy serves as a reminder that our mission is not complete until death. With 3 studio productions completed and various credits across several projects, Revy continues his quest to become the voice of the defeated. Having gained much and lost much more, Revy has grown to understand the potential of those society all too often overlooks. His goal through music is to reach the have nots of the world and inspire them to aspire to greatness. The Bible tells of a man named Elijah who was able to pray to God and fire would descend from the heavens. In Elijah’s travels he found himself weary and in need of sustenance. It was then that God spoke to him and told him to go to a river; to drink from it and he will command the ravens to bring him food, and just as God spoke, it so happened.

Not everyone is called to be Elijah. For years Revy questioned his position/purpose, until a feeling in his heart became a clear understanding; “I am not Elijah…I am the Raven”.  In other words; not everyone will reach a position of acclaim, or notoriety, but we all are in position to serve others.

Kamikaze Revy is a Brooklyn, New York native passionate about God, family, and music. His goal is to create a platform that can serve as the launching pad for the dreams of the underprivileged. He is an Audio Engineer, Recording Artist, Web Developer, Producer, Photographer, Videographer, and Graphic Artist, but the title he prefers most is servant.
